Well if I use ‘Numbers of Soccer’, I might have to deal with people complaining that I don’t call it ‘football.’ If I use ‘Numbers of Football’, I might have to deal with people looking for Terrell Owens’ stats. If I use ‘Calcio’, I only have to deal with people asking me if I’m Italian.
Why isn’t (Team A) ranked ahead of (Team B) ?
Well that’s the way the math worked out. I don’t thumb the scales on any of the systems. The numbers are the numbers.
